His ability to make plays both in the pocket and on the run has drawn comparisons to some of the game's greats, and his leadership on and off the field has been widely praised.

Jayden Daniels, the dynamic quarterback from LSU, was chosen second overall. He is also a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, winning the award this past season.
